Japan Casino Academy Ties Up with Canadian Partner

Japan Casino Academy has made an agreement with Toronto-based Advantage United Recruitment Agency (AURA) to provide some of its students to receive hands-on casino training utilizing the Canadian working holiday system.

Japan Casino Academy—not to be confused with its larger rival Japan Casino School—currently operates in seven locations around Japan, specializing in the development of casino dealer skills. AURA is an international recruitment agency specializing in the gaming industry.

In conjunction with the launch of this new program, two workshops will be held, one in Tokyo on October 20, and the other in Osaka on October 26. Participating in these events will be the two key officers of AURA, President James Park and Executive Vice-President for Asia Ben Ho.

In May, Japan Casino Academy formed a partnership with the Tokyo-based human resources firm Altima to create Japan’s first recruitment agency for the anticipated domestic IR industry. (AGB Nippon)
