Okada Manila Posts 68% Increase in Gaming Revenue in March

Tiger Resort Leisure & Entertainment, the operating firm for Okada Manila, reported a 68% increase in gross gaming revenue (GGR) for the month of March 2019, mainly due to a recovery in domestic and international players following Chinese New Year.

GGR came in at 3.3 billion pisos (about US$64 million) in the month, while adjusted segment EBITDA reached 509 million (about US$9.7 million), increasing 266%.

Universal Entertainment, the parent company, said the increase in players brought increased volumes in VIP rolling, mass table drop, and gaming machine handle. A new VIP junket was also added in March, resulting in a further increase in VIP rolling. (AGB)
