Nagasaki Marine IR Council Holds IR Development Seminar

The Nagasaki Marine IR Council, an organization established by the Sasebo Chamber of Commerce and Industry, held its “IR Seminar and Information Exchange” on April 22. Experts on IR development and operations were invited to speak about topics such as procurement demands and business opportunities that the establishment of IR facilities could be expected to create for local businesses.

Among the experts who spoke at the seminar were Niall Murray of Murray International Group, who gave a lecture titled “Integrated Resorts and Local Procurement,” and Chris Weiners of marketing agency Hogo Japan, who made a presentation on “How to Link Integrated Resorts to Business Opportunities.”

The event was attended by 55 people including members of the financial industry in Sasebo and elsewhere, local government organizations, and educational institutions. (Amusement Japan)
